Let's paws for a second

I'm continuing finishing up week this week since last week wasn't very productive in that respect.

These are my buttons for Michelle's Embroidered Button Swap. The theme this time is "Animal Fair". You can see photos of more buttons in the Flickr group.

I love French knots. Very therapeutic.

  1. Your buttons are so gorgeous, what a brilliant way to feature the swap theme. I somehow was late for finding out about the swap (I think it was announced when I was really sick). So, I'm not participating this time. Your buttons will be a big hit with the recipients. And that's a lot of work you've done with the French knots. Stunning!

  8. I'm so impressed with your french knots! I hope you don't end up with one of my buttons now... my french knots are a little wonky. I need to practice more for sure. The paws are too cute!

  11. Oh! So simple and so cute! I stress so much over my designs. I'll be embroidering mine on a trip to DC next week chaperoning the high school ROTC. Hope I get one of yours this round.

  12. I love to do french knots, too. Remember candlwicking? I used to do that back in the 1970's when there was a revival of all things colonial. Those buttons are adorable!!!
