Mini Quilt

One of my friends' daughter's 18th birthday and high school graduation are coming up.
I decided to make her a quilt but she'll get to choose the fabric and pattern.
Now how do you give someone a non-existent quilt for their birthday?
After thinking about it for a couple of weeks I came up with this:
Mini quilt
It's 4" x 4".
I put a label on the back:
Mini quilt - back
What do you think?

  6. I'm definitely stealing this. I hate going to the party/shower and not even have someone's quilt started! Now I won't have to go empty handed :)

  17. I think that is a great idea! How did you think of it? After she exchanges it you can use it again for the next time, plus you can give it at a baby shower if the baby isn't born and you don't have the quilt done yet!
